Alternatively, Garrard Street, opposite the NCP multi-storey car park, provides an additional point of access. Motorists coming from Junction 11 of the M4 are advised to take the Reading (Central & South) Basingstoke A33 exit. Following this route, the road descends below street level. After veering left and ascending the ramp, negotiate the roundabout to reach Garrard Street. Proceed along the road, turning right onto Garrard Street, followed by a sequence of right turns that will position you on Friar Street. The venue is conveniently located on the right-hand side.

Opting for rail or underground travel? The Reading Rail Station, a brief 5-minute walk from the exam centre, serves as the central point. Upon exiting the station and turning left towards the roundabout, proceed directly onto Station Road. Take the second right onto Friar Street and continue until reaching Merchants Place, situated between the Ann Harvey Clothing store and Nando’s restaurant.
