The qualification is aimed at practising electricians, trainees and associated trade professionals, including handypersons, gas engineers, plumbers, landscapers, kitchen fitters and builders. And if you work or are involved in the electrical industry and undertaking work in a domestic setting, you will need to make sure you are working in accordance with the Building Regulations. By gaining the City & Guilds 2393-10 qualification, you are demonstrating you have a knowledge and understanding of the Building Regulations and electrical safety.

This qualification is not only industry-recognised but is considered one of the most useful by practising electricians to help generate business. The public instantly recognises Part P as a benchmark that they expect an electrician to be working to. With this Part P qualification, candidates will not only make themselves more employable to prospective employers but also help generate work if looking to work as a self-employed person undertaking electrical work in a dwelling.

The City & Guilds 2393-10 qualification is also a great way to show academic competency when completing non-notifiable works within a dwelling. Many of our candidates are associated trade professionals such as plasterers, plumbers, builders, handy-persons, DIYers and property owners.

To undertake any electrical work within a dwelling, you must have practical knowledge and skills. Passing the C&G 2393-10 qualification alone only helps demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of your obligations electrically within a dwelling.
