Slips, trips & falls are the most common workplace hazard. They cause approximately 35% of all workplace reported injuries and often lead to other types of accidents such as falls from height, falling downstairs and falling into other objects. They are a major hazard not only to employees but also members of the public, visitors, contractors and irregular workers at the workplace.

Most slips and trips occur due to poor housekeeping. Wet floors and items left in walkways, gangways and corridors are the biggest causes of slips, trips and falls.

The course will communicate the essential information needed for workers to reduce the risks involved from slips, trips and falls in the workplace. The following are some of the areas covered in the online course.

At the end of our essential e-learning Slips, Trips and Falls Awareness Course, candidates will complete a multiple-choice test. Successful candidates will then be awarded an e certificate which can be used as evidence of their continuing professional development, used when looking to gain employment or further careers, used to update CPD and will overall demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of slips, trips & falls in the workplace.
