18th Edition 2382-22 Wiring Regulations Certificate
The Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2022 is granted to candidates who successfully pass the City & Guilds 2382-22 examination.
As of the current date, candidates will receive two certificates from City & Guilds. The first is an electronic certificate, identical to the PDF mentioned above, which candidates typically receive within 5 working days of passing the 2382-22 examination. This electronic certificate is the official version and can be utilised for renewing or applying for memberships to Competent Person Schemes, such as NICEIC (https://www.niceic.com/) and NAPIT (https://www.napit.org.uk/), or when applying for or renewing ECS cards like the JIB Gold Card, ECS Labourers, or Trainees cards through the Electrical Certification Scheme (https://www.ecscard.org.uk/card-types).
The certificate prominently features the candidate’s name and the examination centre attended. It is crucial for candidates to use the desired name during the enrollment process, as it will be displayed on the 18th edition certificate.
The enrollment number, a combination of three letters followed by four numbers, is located at the bottom of the certificate. For privacy reasons, the enrollment number has been omitted. This unique identifier is specific to each candidate. If candidates pursue additional City & Guilds qualifications, whether in the electrical or non-electrical domain, they should instruct the organizing centre to use this enrollment number during registration with City & Guilds. This practice ensures the seamless linkage of all qualifications, facilitating the retrieval of replacement certificates if needed.
Within four weeks from the examination date, candidates will receive a hard copy of the certificate by mail. Failure to receive this copy within the stipulated timeframe requires candidates to promptly contact the relevant authority for arrangements to obtain a replacement. After the initial four weeks, candidates will incur an additional fee for the issuance of a replacement certificate.
