This examination is an open-book assessment, allowing learners to use the IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition: BS 7671:2018 (2022) as permitted reference material. The books used in the examination can include bookmarks, highlighting of text, and short notations, but must not contain sample exam questions, answers, or diagrams, detailed notations in the regulations, or any content that may advantage the candidate in answering exam questions.
