What’s in the health and safety in construction online course?
The online course covers everything canddiates need to know in order to pass the 6072 examinations by City & Guilds. This covers the following topics:
- Know the principles of risk assessment for maintaining and improving health and safety at work
- Know the importance of safe manual handling in the workplace
- Know the importance of working safely at height in the workplace
- Know risks to health within a construction environment

Throughout the online course, canddiates will be challenged with test your knowledge exercises reinforcing the content of the lessons and topics covered.
At the end of the online course, canddiates will then face two mock examinations getting them ready for their final health and safety exam.
What will the final exam be like?
The 6072 final examinations by City & Guilds will test canddiates knowledge and understanding of best health and safety practices on construction sites when completing tasks as a construction worker.
The final examination will be 70 minutes and consist of 45 multiple-choice questions. The pass mark is set at 80%.
When will my certificate arrive?
When you have finished your 6072 health and safety examination all canddiates will be emailed their results the same day. Official City & Guilds e certificates will be emailed to successful candidates within five working days and your hard copy certificate will be with you within four weeks from your examination date. The electronic e certificate is the version used when completing the CSCS green labourers card application.
